Thank you for visiting Cast Iron Savannah! We are Jes and Ken and we are so happy to share our passion for cooking and restoring cast iron with you. Jes grew up in Erie, PA (home of Griswold™) and Ken just outside of Philadelphia, PA. Both of our fondest memories are the times spent in our family’s kitchens learning how to cook and bake. Family, food, and community are most important to us and we are thankful that Cast Iron Savannah has introduced us to so many of you.

It Started With “Just One Piece”…

And before we knew it, cast iron had become our favorite hobby — and now our passion project.

Our love for cast iron started when Jes surprised Ken with his first Lodge™ cast iron skillet for Christmas. After learning how to season the pan and cook in cast iron, we quickly discovered that food simply tastes better. The clean up was surprisingly easy and we needed more so the hunt was on…
We are now avid collectors, always in search of different styles and manufacturers.  We collect from yard sales, thrift stores, flea markets, and estate sales and the condition of any cast iron doesn’t scare us. Finding new pieces and restoring them to their former glory is half the fun for us.

Every piece we restore is lovingly striped and re-seasoned so they are ready for daily use. We also provide instructions and tips for the use and care of each piece so you can enjoy it for many years. Please check out the rest of our page to learn more about how we restore and re-season each item.

Currently we are stepping back from buying and selling, but we still have a vast inventory of cast iron items. Feel free to message us and see if we have something you’ve been looking for.
